Art Show IIposted Nov 20th 2007, 6:15PM
Mood: Restless
Music: "Go Go Power Rangers" by Buckethead
The Power Rangers theme song, when you've heard it played by a metal band, you notice how much a power trip song this is!
Wanted to say that I am pleased to announce that I have an art show coming up in Starbucks! They're hosting our work to be there, and by our and I mean myself and my friend Consuelo. Last year I did a show at my high school with her boyfriend, Beatle, so I'm really happy and fortunate to have kept this second show with the traditional group. Last year, we three were a triforce of demonic incantations and trips beyond all twists and turns of most minds. Beatle graduated last year. We were hounds on each other's heels allt he time, barking mad about one thing then the other while Consuelo giggled in her innocence & neutrality.
I realize only now that after this year, a lot of my friends (being seniors) will leave. And I will be stuck without any real loves left to have a good time with. I don't associate myself with anyone in my own grade or the grades under me.
I'll worry about that later. I'm enjoying my time now.
Your speed paint was amusingly beautiful and the effort you went into to do the hair paid off. I love the romantic features of sculptures and those who try at their features. For a speed paint, it was very well done! =] Do you ever plan to refine it at all?
It was too beautiful to not love! =] I loved the somber feelings that came from the soft subject and the soft texture from the medium. Not to mention I love the way you draw hair.
